A Menace to Society!

Tea Partied and ‘Grovered” Republican Congress members are a menace to society. They have, ONCE AGAIN, blocked a nominee to head the President’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which would ensure that debt collectors, private student loan providers and payday loan providers are properly supervised and that consumers are not put at risk. So, in addition to demanding more tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires on the backs of middle class families, and playing CORPORATE INTERESTS pipeline games over extending payroll tax cuts for middle class families, Tea Partied and ‘Grovered’ Republican Congressional members, also, want to LET CORPORATIONS WRITE THEIR OWN RULES on the backs of all consumers!


A Center for Responsive Politics survey recently found that “nearly half” of Congress members are millionaires - 30 Senate Republicans and 110 House Republicans are “worth MORE THAN $1 million”. Another recent study by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, found that the heads of various Congressional committees were lavishly paid off in campaign contributions by the “industries they were supposed to be regulating”!“Votemout” in 2012!
