Did TEA PARTIED REPUBLICAN public officials go off the tea and on to the brink of total insanity from last week into the weekend? First there was ‘WAGGING’ Arizona Governor Brewer, than we had “get the hell out of the United States of America” ‘OBAMA DEPORTER’ Florida Representative Allen West. Now we have Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus who is just plain dumb!
You see, Priebus couldn’t remember the exact SCRIPT from the TEA PARTIED RIGHT WING’s ‘OBAMA IS A BOOGYMAN’ TALKING POINT OF THE WEEK. So, during a Sunday interview on CBS’ Face the Nation, he compared President Obama to the captain of the shipwrecked Costa Concordia, BUT when he was asked to explain his UNFOUNDED accusation, he couldn’t remember the exact words of the rest of the script and decided to wing it - “ I called him Captain Schelttino - you know - the captain that fled the ship in Italy - that’s our own president - who is fleeing the American people - and not doing his job - and running around the country - and campaigning.”
If Priebus relied on EASILY ACCESSBIBLE PUBLIC INFORMATION instead of THE SCRIPT, he could have saved himself from looking like an absolute fool! During the month of January, alone, President Obama’s schedule included OVER ONE HUNDRED activities from delivering the STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS and issuing the command for SEALs to free an American and a Danish hostage killing 9 of their Somali pirate captors to appointing a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director; appointing replacement members for the National Labor Relations Board; attending presidential DAILY briefings; meeting with the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness; numerous meetings with senior advisors, cabinet members, and various government agency staffs; touring manufacturing sites; delivering remarks at universities; meeting with international diplomatic heads of state including King Abdullah II of Jordan , and President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia; delivering a Defense Strategic Review; delivering remarks at the Financial Protection Bureau; delivering remarks and thanking staff at an EPA event; participating in numerous ceremonial events including an Ambassador Credentialing Ceremony; delivering remarks at numerous assemblies covering issues such as defense, government reform, the economy, consumer financial protection, the importance of American workers, developing American-made energy to an economy that’s built to last, American energy and the steps the Administration is taking to promote energy security, proposals to keep college affordable and within reach for all Americans; holding numerous roundtable meetings on INsourcing American jobs; hosting receptions and ceremonies for the Tuskegee Airman, U.S. mayors, the Diplomatic Corps, Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins, the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks, 2011 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals, and hosting an INTERACTIVE You Tube and Google session WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE to discuss the state of the union.
