Since losing the 2012 General Election, Tea Partied Republican governors are more determined than ever to stop Obamacare at the state
level. The sickest part of their anti-Obamaccare fight is that
they want to deny quality, affordable health care services for
the very constituents who elected them in to office!
The irony of the matter is that as taxpayers, WE subsidize comprehensive health care coverage for these very same governors as well as for their families!?!?!
The irony of the matter is that as taxpayers, WE subsidize comprehensive health care coverage for these very same governors as well as for their families!?!?!
According to a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers’Health Research
Institute, “14 states and the District of Columbia have made significant
progress toward implementing reforms while another 19 states have made
“moderate progress, leaving 17 states or about a third – that have yet to
change their laws or take other steps toward implementation.”
Tea Partied Republican governors are
justifying(?) their resistance on the lame excuse that
Obamacare takes away states’ discretionary abilities. Before Obamacare, states
retained “substantial discretion” to determine eligibility or scope and
duration of coverage, but...
... WE all
know what Tea Partied Republican governors
do when they have discretion to determine
eligibility, scope and duration for anything - they legislate voter
suppression laws; they legislate invasive, unnecessary medical
procedures affecting women’s reproductive rights; they shut down pre
school and after school programs; they close elementary schools;
they shut down Planned Parenthood programs so women can't have access to
affordable cancer screenings, and they cut federal assistance for preventive
health care, women, children, the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed,
veterans, the poor and college students!

FYI...
While researching for this post, we were amazed at pages
upon pages of Repeal Obamacare on-line
petitions sponsored by Right Wing interests groups such as the National
Republican Congressional Committee, Freedomworks, For America, Liberty
Action and the like.
WE can change that situation by contacting the above listed governors at their office websites, at voting polls and below.
