Summer Daze!

While Stimulus  unemployment rates dropped to 7.4

Tea Partied lawmakers(?) walked out the door

Our hard working(?) reps are on vacation

Another 5 weeks won’t shock the nation

Going on vacation is the Tea Partied craze

Whenever their law making slumps  in a daze

How are they vacationing on the taxpayer’s dime?

Defund Obamacare  is their bottom line -

Threats of shutting down the government are making prime time

As if their sequestered shut down didn’t cross the line!

So…

What did Tea’d lawmakers(?) leave behind

While they vacation around the “defund”  line?

No action on what would replace affordable care

No action on immigration – that’s up in the air

With making  the  conservative Court’s voting denial  fair!

No action on fair taxation – let the middle class pay

While the top 1% roll in tax cut hay

No action on dealing with raising the debt ceiling

Government’s fiscal default is what they’re feeling

No action on transportation or housing bills

Let the taxpayers suffer – no sweat on the Hill!

No action on no action – now  ain’t that a blip!

Make them think twice before their next trip…
