reasons why Tea Partied House Republicans want to shut down the government:

- An article at huffingtonpost.com entitled Food Stamp Cuts Pursued by GOP Despite Shrinking Deficit highlights that our nation’s deficit shrank from $1 trillion to $642 billion under President Obama’s leadership.
- “In the 84 years that the Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index has been calculated, it doubled during the terms of only four presidents – Eisenhower, Reagan, Clinton and President Obama! (New York Times)
- The New York Times article further states that despite the fact that President Obama took in the middle of a credit crisis and near full blown depression, “the United States market has done better since 2009 than any of the next nine largest economies in the world”!
- An article at marketwatch.com entitled 10 Careers Boosted by Obamacare outlines thousands of health care industry jobs created by the Affordable Health Care Act .
- Tea Partied Governors Steve Beshear of Idaho and C.L. “Butch” Otter of Kentucky are taking personal credit for the success of their Obamacare state exchanges calling it by another name – Kentucky Connect and Idaho Health Care Exchange!?!? !
Imagine
how much further along our nation’s economic progress would be if Tea Partied House Republicans would stop
hating the President and start governing towards the common good of all of the constituents they were hired to serve - not just the Tea Party and the top 1%!
