Tea Partied Republican US Senate lawmakers(?)
Mark Kirk (R-IL) ,
Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and Rand
Paul (R-__), Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), Saxby Chambliss (R-GA.), Johnny Isakson (R-GA.), Mark Kirk (R- Ill), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), and Roger Wicker (R-Miss), who represent states with high unemployment, are
leading the latest Block Obama Mission to deny the extension of unemployment benefits
affecting over 1.3 million jobless Americans and their families!
Not to be outdone, Tea Partied Republican House leaders, also “expressed no
interest in extending the unemployment benefits” (See Unemployment extension lacks GOP support below).
The arguments Tea Partied Republican lawmakers(?) are spouting to deny unemployment benefits are 1) unemployment
benefits will make people “lazy”, and 2)
the “price tag should be offset with
more spending cuts”!
Herein sits the elephant in the room - the above arguments are typical hypocrisies declared by the same
Tea Partied congressional lawmakers(?) who…
… are recorded as being the “least productive congress in modern history”
with the combination of record breaking Tea
Partied House Republican recessed vacations, and repeated
refusals to pass legislation in order to block a President!?!?!
…refused to pass President Obama’s
November, 2011 American Jobs Act initiative which
would have decreased the need to extend
unemployment benefits and resulted in
saving federal unemployment dollars!?!?!
…had no problems with the “price
tag” of their $24 billion government shut down aimed at denying affordable health care for all!?!?!
…had no problems extending unemployment benefits five times under President Bush with
no strings attached!?!?!
Help end the
Tea Partied unemployment benefit hypocrisy. Close out the petitions below by signing.
