Senator Rubio, you, frequently,
state that President Obama “has no ISIS policy to avoid upsetting Iran.” What
facts do you have to support that accusation?
RUBIO: Let’s dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack
Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing, He knows exactly what he’s doing”
HOST (a bit confused): Uh Huh. Are your aware that President Obama
forged a coalition of 65 nations that are supporting local forces in Iraq’s
fight against ISIS launching 8,100 air strikes on ISIS targets in a little more
than a year?

HOST: Did you know that under President Obama’s leadership, US
military forces recently struck 116 ISIS fuel trucks and disrupted the group’s
oil-smuggling and financing capabilities?

HOST: Did you know that the President announced he would be sending
additional special operations forces to work with Kurds battling ISIS in
northern Syria?
RUBIO: Let’s dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack
Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing, He knows exactly what he’s doing”
HOST: You got that right!
Senator Cruz, you stated that the 2013 immigration bill “expanded
President Obama’s ability to bring Syrian refuges to this country without
mandating any meaningful background checks.” PolitiFact National found that statement to be completely false.
Would you care to comment on that misrepresentation of the facts?
CRUZ: Certainly, "Obamacare is the biggest job-killer in this
country - millions of Americans have lost their jobs, haven forced into
part-time work.”
HOST (confused once again): Ummmmm - Senator Cruz, besides not
answering the question, none of those statements are true. As a matter of fact they are
so blatantly false that PolitiFact
National gave you a whopping “Pants on Fire”
rating on both of those statements.
Of the 70 months since Obama
signed the Affordable Care Act, every single one of those months has seen
positive job growth. Furthermore,
independent studies don’t support your claim that “thousands of employees have
their hours cut from full-time to part-time as a result of the Affordable Care
Act.
Let’s get back to my question,
Mr. Cruz. What factual information do you have to support your accusation that
the immigration bill expanded the President’s ability to bring in Syrian
refugees?
CRUZ: President Obama “dramatically degraded our military”
HOST: What are you talking about?
The facts show
that Obama has done more for veterans than any other President since FDR. President Obama provided combat troops with
better body armor; created a Joint Virtual Lifetime electronic record program
for military personnel in order to improve the quality of medical care; initiated
and signed a recruitment and employment plan to get more veterans into
government jobs; signed the Military Spouses Residency Relief Act which ensures
that spouses of military personnel who are forced to move because their spouse
is posted for military duty can avoid state taxes in their temporary residence
and much more.
However, speaking about support for
the military, when you led the Republican Congress’ government shut down which impacted the military by stopping weapons
and equipment maintenance and crippling our intelligence community among other
things, how did your actions demonstrate support for the military?
CRUZ: I’ll be glad to answer that question. Obama is the wor…..
HOST (interrupting Cruz response): Moving right along - Mr. Trump, you've made numerous accusations criticizing the historic, internationally sanctioned Iran
Deal led by the Obama Administration. You stated that “We got nothing” from
that Deal. What proof do you have to confirm that accusation?
