Republican politics can sicken you - literally!

While you may feel sickened hearing 2016 Republican presidential candidates, proudly, campaign on the notion of carpet bombing innocent civilians and Trump’s call for  punching and taking out non-violent campaign rally protesters on a stretcher, that’s just the tip of the iceberg….

Conservative Supreme Court justices nominated by Republican Presidents and approved by Republican congressional lawmakers(???) have ruled that 1) the Obama administration cannot spend funds in reimbursing insurance companies for reductions they are required to make under the law to customers’ out-of-pocket medical payments; 2) blocked the Environment Protection Agency’s regulatory ability to limit power plant mercury emissions and other toxic pollutants that poison American families.

Republican Governor Rick Synder replaced the elected leadership of Flint, Michigan with his own appointed “emergency manager” who managed to mismanage the water source in Flint into a deadly lead poisoning catastrophe!

Republican US Senate Committee members led by Republican  Chair Jason Chaffetz voted against health plan assistance for 9/11 first responders. They, also, voted against access to affordable health care, and cut funding for Medicare, Medicaid and food stamps  for infants, children, senior citizens, veterans and their families.

Republican governors and Republican legislators would rather see their constituents die than allow them access to affordable health care. Republican-led affordable health care denial is affecting five million Americans!

Republican congressional lawmakers(???) blocked a Democratic-led bill to stop terrorists from buying guns!

Republican governors and legislators promoted and passed NRA-sponsored guns everywhere laws allowing the carrying of guns in churches, in bars, on trains, on school grounds, on college campuses, in National Parks, and more!

Republican congressional lawmakers (???refuse to renew a 1994 anti-crime bill that  banned assault weapons. The, formerly, bi-partisan ban expired on September 13, 2004!

Republican governors and Republican state legislators are starving their state’s public education in order to feed tax cuts for the rich and fill the pockets of corporate charter school hedge fund magnets!

Republican congressional lawmakers’(???) sequestration, designed to spite President Obama, are wreaking havoc on funding for repairing roads and bridges, public safety, and national security!

The good news is WE have the prescription to cure the ill will of Republican politicos at the presidential, congressional and state levels at our fingertips…
