Republican Congress is content to forfeit its 'checks and balances' Constitutional duties to provide cover for their “extremely careless”,
“grossly incompetent”, ”disqualified for president” President putting party above country!
They
are playing coy with Trump’s Putin Requested White House Meeting with
the Russians national security threat;
impeding, obstructing and
undermining the Russia investigation;
turning a blind eye on
Trump’s lies, his Administration’s lies, his refusal to present his tax
returns, his refusal to release the White House visitors log, his nepotism; his and his family’s business-related conflicts
of interests and more!
Why?
To
provide cover for the individual “with enough working digits” to sign-off on their Republican Agenda.
In
a speech to the American Conservative
Union on February 11, 2012 founder and head of conservative Americans for
Tax Reform, Grover Norquist laid out the Republican scheme for conservative political domination in preparation for the 2012
General Election -

replace Obama---We are not auditioning for a fearless leader. We don’t need a president to tell us in what
direction to go. We know what direction
to go. We want the Ryan budget…We just need a president to sign this stuff. We

Pick a Republican with
enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United
States. This is a change for
Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing
bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has
already been prepared.”

The Republican Senate steals and bends the voting rules to confirm their Republican Agenda pick for
Supreme Court Justice - a nominee
accused of plagiarism with a strong Republican Agenda track record on trampling voting rights, civil rights,
women’s rights, and putting the desires of corporations above workers!
The
Republican Senate confirms a racist Attorney General who lied during his confirmation hearings
regarding his interactions with Russians and
lied about recusing himself from the Russia investigation - without Republican reprimand. (To date, Jeff
Sessions has enacted Republican Agenda edicts for the mass incarceration of
minorities, the denial of justice for, primarily Black, Flint Water victims;
and the denial of justice for unarmed Black
victims of rogue police
enforcement killings.)
Overall,
the Republican Senate is happily filling
the swamp with Republican Agenda administration nominees whose qualifications include - but are not
limited to...
- Business ties to Russia;
- Allegiance to Goldman Sachs, oil, mining, gas corporations and the rich;
- Shady business dealings;
- Pronouncements of bigotry, racism and anti-Semitism;
- Little to no knowledge about running the agencies they head, and
- Pronouncements and/or actions to undermine the purpose of the agencies they head!
Republican House votes to overturn
Obama to the detriment of the American
people fulfill Trumped Republican Agenda Executive Orders that…
- Deny affordable health care;
- Deregulate environmental protections to curb water pollution;
- Deregulate environmental protections for clean air;
- Deregulate consumer protections from corporate lenders
- Squash the Flint Water Crisis investigation in order to protect Republican state officials;
- Permit oil, gas and mining companies to engage in pay-for-play with foreign governments
- Overturn the restriction of the sale of guns to "severely mentally ill people" and
- Facilitate the opportunity to rig elections by voting to shut down the only government agency that can insure that voting machines are not being hacked!!!
Forfeiting its Constitutional duties is non-negotiable! The Republican Congress is undeserving of another term in office
let alone for the office in which its members currently serve!
