After hosting a publicly staged, back-slapping, Hip Hip Hooray! celebration, Trump Tweeted his Enablers’ Obamacare Repeal as being “mean”!?!?
Yet and still, Trump’s Republican Congressional Enablers persist in giving Trump anything he wants:
- Forfeiting their Constitutionally-mandated “checks and balances” duties;
- Blocking a House vote to sanction Russia for interfering in America’s election;
- Scheduling public hearings to switch the emphasis from Russian interference to trashing the Black president’s administration (A tried and true Republican tactic for stoking support from its base);
- Scheduling a behind-closed-doors, oath less hearing for Jared and Manafort; (!?!?!)
- Voting to put guns in the hands of mentally ill patients (One up for NRA campaign contibutions!);
- Voting to end Flint water investigations (Black lives don’t matter - protecting shady Republican state officials does!);
- Stealing a Supreme Court nomination (Confirming an anti-voting rights/women’s rights/workers’ rights nominee accused of plagiarism is far more ‘just’!?!?);
- Wiping out environmental regulations for clean air, streams and rivers (Oil and gas campaign contributors rule!);
- Passing a Committee vote to eliminate the only government agency responsible for investigating election hacking (Heads up for Putin?);
- Deregulating consumer protections to reward Goldman Sachs, corporate and banking campaign contributors;
- Legislating pay-for-play rewards for Republican corporate interests (OOPS! There it is!)
