His statement created an uproar among Tea Partied Republican presidential/vice presidential candidates, congressmen, Super Pac(ers), FOXifiers and pundits clamoring for Akin to bow out of the Missouri US Senate race. The question is why?
Romney supported anti-abortion pro-lifer, John Willke and campaigns on eliminating Planned Parenthood which would, in turn, eliminate middle class and poor women's preventive health care access including cancer screenings, family life education, and education services to prevent teen pregnancy. Romney's VP pick Paul Ryan “teamed up with Akin in the House to sponsor harsh anti-abortion bills” (ny times.com)
The Republican Party “establishment” approved “strict anti-abortion” language in their Party Platform. (nytimes.com)
So, why are Romney, Ryan, other GOP Tea Partiers and Super Pac(ers) complaining about Akin’s statements when they are all on the same page - crucify women, the middle class and the poor?
