Numerous states
along the east coast are taking a beating from Hurricane Sandy. If you
are in an affected area 1) follow directives from hurricane response advisories; 2) keep off the
roads so that emergency responders can do their job; 3) look out for your
neighbors; 4) try not to use candles; 5) try to text versus call, and 6) remember that
because of the massive amount of damage
caused by Sandy, the road to recovery may take some time so give a ‘high five’
to government, charity-based and
electrical power responders who left their loved ones and are risking their
lives and safety to protect yours. Here are some contact links to help those

What I found to be most telling was
while President Obama gave up valuable campaign appearances in order to respond
to the crisis for the 100% - maintaining constant contact
with Governors from all political parties;
coordinating cooperation among local, state and federal government
agencies; cutting red tape, and making sure affected states had all of the federal and state government
resources at the President’s disposal - Romney and his Super Pac(ers) weres busy
spreading “lies and scare tactics about Jeep”
in their campaign ad attempt to win Ohio!?!?
