Justices John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito ruled against equal rights by gutting Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act!
Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act - revised and extended several times by Congress - establishes a coverage formula to determine which states and local governments fall under Section 5, and therefore need to get approval before changing their voting laws.
The conservative justices based their ruling on the contradictory delusion that since Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act proved to be a success, "preclearance is no longer needed”(?!?!)
Then conservative justices strengthened their contradiction with the equally delusional ruling that our Tea Partied Congress "may draft another formula based on current conditions”!?!?!

The six states are:
Texas
Mississippi
Alabama
Arkansas
South Carolina
Virginia
