We are always searching for interesting
and informative ways to spin the spins of those who wish to squash the hopes
and dreams of those in need of a voice.
Deadbeat congressional lawmakers(?) are no exception to our spin on
spins.
Together, WE have social networked documented information, signed petitions
and contacted Tea Partied congressional lawmakers(?) over a variety of issues
including – but not limited to – petitions, emails and phone calls to reinstate voting rights denied by conservative
Supreme court justices; to pass the President's American Jobs Act; to legislate fair taxation for the middle class; to
protect women’s reproductive rights; to
fund educational opportunities for preschool through college level students; to legislate supplemental
nutrition support for infants, children, veterans, the elderly, the working poor, and so on and so forth.
Fasten your seat belts because the
spin detectives came across another way
to spin the spins and it’s a blast!
Bill Maher - host of the HBO blockbuster – Real Time with Bill Maher came up with a brilliant tool to challenge ineffective congressional lawmakers(?)…
…“Flip a District”!
According to the “Flip a District”
link below…
“There are a lot of terrible
entrenched congressmen out there. Many
don’t even have an opponent. We’re going to choose one of them, throw him into
the national spotlight, and see if we
can’t send him scuttling under the refrigerator on Election Night” (e.g. Midterm Elections
2014).
All WE need to do is go to the “Flip a District” link below, tell Bill
why your representative needs to be sent packing. Once the Bill Maher team chooses
the district, they will spend the year periodically looking at the district,
meeting the entrenched incumbent, introducing his fresh faced challenger,
getting to know the people they want to serve, and generally, doing their level
best to flip that district.
Let’s get started….
