If Tea’d Republicans are so concerned about Benghazi, why do they keep cutting US embassy funds?

Tea Partied Republican lawmakers(?) – along with endless bashings  from their  FOXified cable muse  partners - are on the Blame Obama for Benghazi band wagon, once again,  without mentioning multiple Tea Partied Republican diplomatic corps budget cuts prior to and after the Benghazi attack?!?!?

The Benghazi attack took place on September 11, 2012.

In 2009 House Republicans cut $12 billion from State operations including funds for 300 more diplomatic security positions from the Obama administration's budget request.

Tea Partied Representatives making the most noise about Benghazi -  Darrel Issa (CA) and Tea Partied House Representative Jason Chaffetz (Utah) - led the Tea Partied House Republican majority vote to cut diplomatic corps funds in their 2011 and 2012 budgets.

In fiscal year 2011, House Republicans “shaved $128 million off of the Obama administration’s request for embassy security funding.

In fiscal year 2012 “House Republicans “drained off even more funds from the Obama administration’s embassy security request – cutting back on the request by $331 million.

When Tea Partied House Republicans cut diplomatic corps funds, these are the types of essential embassy security measures they cut:

• Security staffing
• Local guards
• Armored vehicles
• Security technology
• Embassy construction and upgrades

By the way, two years after the Benghazi attack, the Tea Partied House Republican Paul Ryan budget slashes an additional $400 million from the Obama administration’s embassy security request!?!?

If House Republicans are so concerned about the tragedy in Benghazi, why are they systematically cutting diplomatic corps funding from Obama administration requests…
