On April 30, 2014 Tea Partied U.S. Senate Republicans blocked a bill to increase the minimum wage.

Tea Partied lawmakers(?) are trying to play down their insensitivity to the economic stability of the middle class as well as upward mobility for the working poor claiming that Democrats are pushing minimum wage bills for a Midterm Election political edge!?!?

The only problem with the Tea Partied argument is that the Democratic strategy 

would hurt no one…
