Tea’d Lawmakers’ Outrage over VA Hospitals: Hypocritical, Too Little and Too Late!

Tea Partied Republican congressional lawmakers(?) are all over the airways calling for the resignation of the Secretary of Veteran Affairs and bashing government programs regarding the sad consequences of  "wait lists" at VA hospitals.

Their politically motivated outrage is hypocritical, too little, and too late!

Here’s why...
  1. When Bush’s Republican majority Congress voted for the unfunded Iraq War, not one Republican lawmaker voted to set aside funding to take care of our military personnel upon their return from that invasion.
  2. 40 Tea Partied Republican lawmakers voted to keep America’s veterans unemployed. (See the names of each of those lawmakers(?) in The GOP’s actual track record on supporting veterans link below.)
  3. Tea Partied Republican lawmakers blocked COLA on benefits for disabled veterans and survivors.
  4. Tea Partied Republican lawmakers  voted against 7 Democrat-sponsored  Bills to help veterans.
  5. Tea Partied Republican lawmakers  voted against the Obama administration's request for increased VA funding.
