Save yourself Senator Menendez! Step away from the tea!

Democratic Senator Bob Menendez (NJ) joined his Tea'd Republican congressional counterparts in a crusade to derail America's allies' delicate, but promising negotiations to neutralize the threat of nuclear arms production in Iran.


Despite the fact that current nuclear negotiations between Iran, the US and its negotiation allies (China, Russia, Japan, and Korea) have:

• Halted the progress of the Iran nuclear program, and
• Reduced Iran’s nuclear stockpile of nuclear material,

Senator Menendez teamed up with Tea’d lawmakers(?) - John McCain (Ariz,), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Mark Kirk (IL), Kelly Ayote (N.H.) - and House Speaker John Boehner to derail the current international negotiators' progress!?!?

Ignoring the standard practice of prior notice to the President, Speaker Boehner’s contribution to the Tea'd Republican Nuclear Negotiation Derailment Plan was to invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to come to the halls of Congress in March to 1) criticize the President of the United States, and 2) lecture US congressional lawmakers on how to negotiate with a foreign entity regarding nuclear disarmament!?!?

The FOX Muse Network is fiercely attempting to muddy the waters, typically, misinforming viewers about the President not meeting with the Prime Minister in March when 1)  the Prime Minister openly and constantly bashes the President's and U.S. allies' nuclear negotiation efforts,  and 2) the purpose for the Prime Minister's visit to the U.S. will be to meet with Boehner and the Republican Congress - not with the President!  It's difficult to figure out who is tackier - Speaker Boehner, or FOXifiers?

Furthermore, according to an analysis from the nonpartisan Arms Control and Non-Proliferation Center, Menendez’ and his Tea'd Republican counterparts’ bill to undermine current international negotiations will:

• Be interpreted by US negotiation allies as barring the United States from implementing the sanctions relief proposed in any agreement towards permanent nuclear production cessation
• Bring an end to negotiations,
• Create fissures in the allied coalition, and
• Will result in the collapse of current successfully applied sanctions.

Tea’d Republican efforts to derail Iranian nuclear negotiations to spite the President are par for the course, but what’s up with Senator Menendez’ role in the Tea'd Republican derailment plan?
