New York Democratic Senator Schumer has been itching to buck
President Obama’s stance on not supporting a bill to allow families of 9/11
victims to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S. courts since 2008.
On Tuesday, Schumer
and his Republican partners convinced the US
Senate and House to push Schumer’s plan through.
The plan sounds good, but the consequences are costly to
our country because it exposes
our troops, our intelligence community, our diplomats and our government to attacks, backlash-lawsuits and
alienates our Middle East allies at a time of global unrest.
This is not the first time Schumer. publicly, opposed
President Obama. He aligned with Republicans to oppose the Iran Deal as well.
Et tu, Senator Schumer?
