Mitch McConnell and his sidekick Tom Cotton, suddenly want to perform their constitutional advice and consent duties by stacking the federal courts with right wing activists after refusing to fulfill those very same duties for 7+ years under President Obama!

his despicable promise, Mitch McConnell led the Republican
Judicial Blockade of 100 Obama federal court nominees plus Obama’s, moderate, US Supreme Court nominee,
Merrick Garland.
Cotton added to McConnell’s Anti-Obama Crusade by conducting a two-year
blockade against judges to the Court of Federal Claims in his own home
state which is challenged by an overwhelming 2,528 cases on its docket!
He even blocked votes on five nominees twice approved unanimously
by the Republican-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee?!?!
McConnell’s and Cotton's
Republican Judicial Blockade:
1. Hampered the federal bench nationwide throughout
7+ years,
2. Caused Americans seeking justice to
encounter “lengthy delays” throughout 7+ years, and
3. Denied the full complement of justices for the US Supreme Court for 10
going on 11 months despite the fact that every other President’s nominee
who was not withdrawn has received a vote within 125 days of
nomination!
Now McConnell, Cotton and the rest of the Republican constitutional duty slackers are coming off their 7+ year governing vacation to stack the Supreme Court with right wing activists.

Neil Gorsuch, 49 - Joined
opinion in 2013 saying that owners of private companies can object on religious
grounds to a provision of the Obamacare health insurance law requiring
employers to provide coverage for birth control for women.
William Pryor, 54 - Called
Roe v Wade “the worst abomination of constitutional law in our history”
Diane Sykes, 59 - Voted
to reinstate Wisconsin’s oppressive
voter ID law just eight weeks before the 2014 general election.
Raymond Ketledge, 50 - Wrote
an opinion rejecting a “path breaking Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
case seeking to limit private employers’ use of discriminatory credit checks for job applicants.
Joan Larsen, 48 - Shortest
judicial record of any of the finalists. “A regular at events sponsored by the
“right wing conspiracy” Federalist Society. Appeared to, conveniently, forget she was a member of that Society when she was
named to the Michigan Supreme Court in 2015!
