The House and Senate leadership of the 113th Congress released their 2013 congressional calendars in November, 2012. Congress returns from another 5 week vacation on September 9th.

The Republican House majority’s calendar includes at least one “constituent work week” or recess per month and the Senate recesses coincide with the federal holidays.

The 2013 congressional calendar contains the following recesses:
